テーマは積み重ねをカタチにすること。

自分は今まで何をやるにも頭が悪く、すぐに憶えたり、できるようにならなかった。
だからコツコツと積み重ねて人に追いついていくしかなかった。
逆にコツコツ積み上げていない事には、何も自信が持てなかった。

それは作品制作にも全く同じ事が言える。
一見普通の事や、誰でもできるような事でも、
それをコツコツと積み上げて行くことで人を圧倒する作品に仕上がっていく。
それが自分自身な気がする。

積み重ねて作る事の魅力は時間の経過と共にワクワクしてくる。感動する。
自分の人生もまさに積み重ねの作品制作のようにしていきたい。
同時に今の自分のポジションは、良くも悪くも今までの積み重ねの結果だと思う。

今回発表する作品は、平面でありながら立体として見えてくるレリーフの世界。
光と影の美しさ。幾何学模様と自由曲線の融合。それらが制作の醍醐味。
単純な紙工作ではなく、圧倒的な繊細さと、細かさを併せ持つ。

モチーフは世界共通のメッセージ。
特に自分が影響を受けた言葉や、自分の指針にしている言葉など。

色は紙の素の白をベースにしながらも、最終的には様々なカラーで表現する。
その先には、プロジェクションとの融合をしたい。
本物のライティングと、フェイクのライティングが同居することで
見る人を作品に没入させる。

Theme: Turning Accumulation into Form

Throughout my life, I have struggled to grasp things quickly or perform them instinctively. Learning and mastering skills did not come easily to me.

The only way to keep pace with others was through steady, deliberate accumulation. Conversely, without such persistent effort, I could never feel confident in anything I did.

This principle extends directly to my artistic practice. Even seemingly ordinary or accessible actions, when repeated and layered over time, can transform into works that are both striking and immersive. I recognize myself in this process.

The allure of accumulation lies in how it unfolds over time—each layer building anticipation, each moment carrying its own emotional resonance. I aspire to live my life as a continuous artwork, created through patient, persistent layering. I also see my current position—both its strengths and limitations— as the direct outcome of the accumulation I have invested thus far.

The works presented here are reliefs that, while physically flat, evoke a strong sense of three-dimensionality. They explore the interplay of light and shadow, the tension between geometric structure and organic curves— this tension lies at the heart of the creative experience. These pieces are not mere paper constructions; they combine meticulous precision with intricate, delicate detail.

The motifs convey universal messages, drawing on words that have guided or inspired me personally. While the works are grounded in the natural white of the paper, they ultimately unfold into a spectrum of color. Looking forward, I intend to integrate projection, where the interplay of real and simulated light will envelop the viewer, creating an immersive encounter with the work.
